Available to events of all sizes, the Wānaka Mug Library offers an effective way to cut down on single-use waste.

From Challenge Wānaka to Ripe – The Wānaka Wine & Food Festival, our mug library helps event organisers achieve their sustainability goals.

Our mug library is easy to set up and includes 200 cups to use at your event.

From our experience, the mug library works best with an event volunteer who can talk to attendees. If you don’t have a volunteer, no worries! It’s quick and easy to assemble and comes with signage.

Just be sure to let all your vendors know, check it regularly, keep it stocked, and spread the word. Alternatively, a member of the PFW team can attend for an additional fee (subject to availability).

While we do not provide washing facilities, all mugs will be sterilised before your event. You will be responsible for sterilising the cups during the event.

Breakages are bound to happen from time to time. We ask that you pay $0.50 for each lost or damaged cup so that we can find a replacement.

Our mug library (with 200 mugs) is available to hire for a fixed fee of $200. The mug library will be available during your event (day/multi-day). Delivery/pick-up is not included.

Every dollar from our mug library goes directly into our mission to reduce single-use waste in our community.
